Members,
We have been working with the County so members can access Workday on their personal phones. I was just emailed that instructions are being sent to IT to help members so MONDAY (June 5th) members can get Workday on their personal phones. I signed an MOA today and part of this agreement is you won't get paid or OT to submit your time from home. Also when getting assistance from IT please call during business hours. IT doesn't want to help you install Workday at midnight even though that may be the best time for you. I requested instructions for members if you have questions on how to do this so when I receive the instructions I will post it.
On a side note I want to thank all of you for the amazing work you do. Every time there is a death in custody or use of force my first question is to make sure no one is hurt and no issues. The responses I have been getting is: "The deputies did everything right." I know we're tired, dealing with mentally ill and violent individuals. I don't think the great job all of you are doing is highlighted enough. I feel lucky I get to work with all of you and your unique sense of humor developed doing the job. So thank you and thank you for the great job you're doing.
