Transgender AIC issue

Recently, I have learned of the many issues our female members face each day surrounding our transgender AIC population. I would like to thank and recognize Sgt. Baker for sharing this information. Since learning of the issues I have requested:

A female MCCDA member sit on the transgender review board

Update and revamp our current policy regarding transgender AIC's

In the meantime; I want to remind all staff the importance of documenting inappropriate behavior during strip searches. This includes transgender and non-transgender strip searches.
