POEB/PDEB Rumor

There is a rumor going around that the E-Board requested that Command eliminate the POEB/PDEB boards during our bi-monthly labor management talks. The is outright false. Chief Deputy Alexander stated it was Command's response to the number of MOT's. This was not a board request nor decision, but rather a Command Staff decision that does not actually address the issue.

The President will be meeting with the Sheriff about the elimination of the board, as well as voicing our concerns in the possible negative outcomes of removing one of the ways we vet employees. We will oppose it, and as of yet have seen no plans from command on how they want to replace it.
