Mental Health and Addiction Resources (1)

At the top of this Blog post is a form for both Mental Health and Addiction resources.

Larry Wenzel was not the first MCSO member to struggle with substance abuse, nor is he the first to tragically take his own life. The list, sadly, gets longer as time passes. To our detriment, we notoriously suppress our emotional/mental health needs. Collectively, it is important to challenge this stigma and ask for help when we need it. There is no shame in doing so.

Our culture needs to change, and as an E-Board, this is becoming a top priority. If you feel yourself in need of any of these resources, please, reach out. If not the resources listed, then I beg that you reach out to a trusted friend, let them know.

Remember, it is ok to ask for help.
