MCIJ East Control

You may recall East Control and MCIJ Kitchen were cut from the budget. The E-board negotiated with management and the county for roughly 90 hays over these cuts. As the kitchen transitioned into civilian staff the need for a deputy was lost and East Control became our focus. I am happy to report we have hammered out a plan to keep East Control open on C shift. There is a phase out plan in place for E and G shift; which should take place over the next week.
