MCCDA Picnic or Gathering

Greetings!

During the recent discussions surrounding the MCCDA financial situation the topic of the annual picnic came up. While there were several very vocal members advocating for not having a picnic anymore, the fact that the annual picnic has been approved year after year by a majority vote cannot be ignored either.

In order to ensure we are following the memberships wishes pertaining to the picnic, the board has decided to seek input and guidance from the membership to see what, and/or if, changes should be made. To that end we are asking for your input on the picnic moving forward:

· Should we still have a picnic?

· Should it be in the same location or a different one?

· Should it change to a Christmas party, or…?

We want to hear your thoughts in general on this topic. I have been asked to gather input from our membership and compile it to help inform the Board on how best to follow the membership’s wishes.
