Lateral Benefits

Currently, we are speaking with the county about insuring that the lateral benefit of previous time in Corrections being applied for vacation accrual (that was negotiated for in the contract), also apply to those deputies who came with previous certified experience. A special thanks to Deputy Franks and Deputy Edner who have both been helping tremendously with bringing this issue to the attention of the union and helping to generate a list of affected employees.


Once our meeting is complete, another announcement will be made with the next steps, and at that point we will reach out to affected employees, but at this time, please stand by and wait to hear. Hopefully I will have another blog post by the end of the week with the result of our meeting.
